Scrawl from The Saw’s Butcher Shop – THE SAW’S BUTCHER SHOP IS BACK ON THE AIR!!

What’s going on Butcher Crew?! It’s your Master Butcher, The Saw, and I am happy to announce that ya girl is invading the airwaves again! Did you miss me? I missed me! The Saw’s Butcher Shop is back and more brutal than ever! We have changed locations; The Butcher Shop has moved from WKNC 88.1 and is now on Overkill Radio.

Overkill Radio is an internet radio shop that plays heavy metal 24/7 (yes, all day!), every day! How cool is that? You can always get your metal fix with Overkill Radio! Overkill Radio was created in 2021 by several college and internet radio DJs. How did I get involved you ask? Well, let’s go back in time to 2019 when I was at the CBI convention (a broadcaster’s convention) in St. Louis, Missouri. I was a presenter for two panels and one of those panels was with one of my fellow DJs at Overkill Radio. He was from an all-metal college radio station in San Antonio, Texas. We exchanged contact information and then a couple years later we were discussing how we would both like to DJ after we graduate college.

Next thing I know, I get a message from him asking if I want to DJ on his internet radio station that he was in the process of creating – Overkill Radio. I am super excited to be a part of Overkill Radio because of the freedom the DJs get when creating their setlists. I also like Overkill Radio because we are filling a gap that we think satellite radio and FM radio have created. I am so excited to see where things go for Overkill Radio!

A new location also means new set time for The Saw’s Butcher Shop. You can catch a beating every Sunday from 6pm-8pm EST. You can start off your week the best way, with your Master Butcher! My first show will be on Sunday, October 17th. Be prepared for torture, beatings, and spatter. I am starting my first set at Overkill Radio with a, crushing bang!

Go to Overkill Radio’s website to listen to my set, and the other programs scheduled as well. Check out our DJ profiles, too.

I’ll see you there!

Stay Metal,
